Wellington, Capital City! Nothing much exciting here, and its raining.. The weather has been so good, but it sucks here. Only stopping a couple of nights before heading over to the south island.

Nothing much here.. Just a river and a lodge. Quick stop for a bit more adventure after the relaxing of the east coast. River Valley is great for white water rafting, so having another go at it here. Great fun, grade 5 rapids. And the lodge is good, roast dinners and all!

At the home of the O'Briens. They treat you just like family. The place is great, a hot tub by the sea.. A beer in the hand, watching the sun go down... Then we had a wonderful roast dinner!.. including desert, what a luxery! Will be a shame to leave this place, its more than relaxing!

Found a fab hostel, right on the edge of the beach. Great place to stop over for the night. Quick dip in the sea and a wicked bbq for dinner! Time to relax!
