Hi everyone!

So we´ve finally managed to upload our photos, there´s 2 new albums for you to feast your eyes on, final pics of Chile and our pics of Peru, including lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu!

As you know we thoroughly enjoyed Lake Titicaca and our next stop was Machu Picchu. We woke early at 3:00am for the long journey to Machu Picchu, which included a taxi, train and bus, arriving at Machu Picchu at 8am!!! This gave us just enough time to get tickets for a time slot to climb Waynapicchu, to get the best views.

We wandered around the famous and spectacular ruins, with the cloud slowly lifting to reveal amazing panoramic views of the mountains. Before long 10am came and we went to climb Waynapicchu, waited in a queue of tourists and Ciara got bitten to shreds :-(

Climbing Waynapicchu was tough going, in the heat and altitude, but we made it and it was well worth it!! See the pics and you´ll understand! At the top we had a little picnic of empanadas and cakes before making our way back down.

All in all it was a fantastic day, albeit long, and had a giggle on the train home with 2 Aussies.

Tuesday we got the local bus (an experience) to Pisac for the market, oh how we love them!

Wednesday we booked ourselves onto a horse trek through the mountains and ruins of the Sacred Valley near Cusco. Our horses, Corey (gold in english) and Puyo (cloud), were very well behaved and we had a really great afternoon, we felt like we were on a film set. Ciara´s horse was quite flatulent, reminding her of her boyfriend!!!

Today we´re camping out at Lima airport! We arrived from Cusco this morning and fly out to Santiago later on today, before heading on to Rio! A long couple of days, but we´re sure it´ll be worth it!!!
