In the morning we drove back into Melbourne in search of Ramsay Street, cunningly disguised as Pine Oak Crescent. We found that it was a lot smaller than it looks on TV. We quickly took some photos as it felt a bit weird walking around peoples houses.

We went to Benalla on the 30th, its a nice town but there are not a lot of touristy things to do. We did find a wonderful book shop, jammed packed with all sorts of books. It was like a little labyrinth. Rachel climbed a ladder and found the complete works of Jane Austin while Sion got Dan Brown's Angels & Demons and the Da Vinci Code and another fantasy book. On the 29th the rain had stopped so we headed to Glenrowan and Ned Kelly's last stand. It is a small twon where everything revolves around Ned Kelly. We went to a little museum, which told the story of how the Kelly family were targeted by corrupt police who forced Ned Kelly onto the wrong side of the law. Even though the weather was still horrid we headed to Belgrave to board the Puffing Billy Steam train. Before we got there we stopped to wave at passengers on an earlier train. We were pleased to see that most of them waved back. The track runs for 8.25miles to Lakeside and takes about an hour each way. On Friday we headed into Melbourne, little did we know it was AFL Grand Final weekend! The final was between St. Kilda and Geelong and there was a parade through the city centre.
