20 November - Today I went on a cruise around Doubtful Sound. 19 November - Had to get up at 5.45am!!! this morning - that's so early! Was being picked up a 6.30am to go sea kayaking in Milford Sound. It took two hours to get there (I was the only one going from Te Anau, the rest were already at Milford Sound), but we (me and the two guides, Gordon and Ron), stopped along the way at Lake Gunn for a hot chocolate. 18 November - Left Riverton about 9am to go to Te Anau, which is in Fiordland on the West Coast. We first stopped to see some trees that had almost been blown over due to the really strong south winds. 17 November - Got on Bottom bus/Kiwi experience and left Dunedin. Went to the Catlins which is a huge area covering the southern part of the south island. First we went to a place called Nugget Point, so called because Captain Cook though the rocks looked like golden nuggets - I couldn't see it myself. There was also a seal colony there. 16 November - Caught the Coastline bus back to Dunedin about 9am. It was a direct trip this time so it only took about 2 hours to get back. As I hadn't seen much of Dunedin Bruce gave me my own little tour of Dunedin free of charge. We went back to Baldwin Street and I got a certificate saying I had walked to the top of it.
