We landed in Fiji after a three hour flight and it was raining it was also incredibilly humid. As we hadn't booked anything, we got a leaflet for a hostel from the airport and gave them a call. They told us to get in a taxi wich they would pay for when we arrived. We checked into our room and then considered our options for the rest of the week.

The done thing is to tour around a handful of Fiji's 300 islands but this is quite costly so, we have opted to buy a return boat to an island called Mana and have booked into a double room in a hostel for 7 nights. Everything was paid for in advance and all our meals are included in the price.

As we went to bed that evening, it was still raining but the locals promised us the sun would be back tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
