Hi guys, Love the photos - all very evocative which, as I am living through you at the moment, is all good. Please tell me you are now turning around and not heading into Afghanistan or Tibet!!! Here: terminal 5 at Heathrow is at a standstill. Good start. This week, in onr day, we had snow, hailstones, sleet, rain. and sun. I walk along the river and could see just about all those variants within one 360 degree swoop of the sky. No wonder we're so excentric. Were those skis or sticks of spagetti painted to look like skis? Love ya, J

Heya! Wow, it looks like you two are having the most amazing time... BURNING with jealousy! Hope to make my way out to that part of the world in my gap year...
As GandT said below, Beth and I are going inter-railing this Summer, and I was wondering if you had any particular recommendations of places to visit??

Easter Monday here with strong winds, sleet and some snow. Spent yesterday in Brockham for a Pippa feats (24hr.pork - in the oven , that is, not a 24 hhr. old pig) Penny and the twins were there and brought an amazing selection of decorated Easter eggs (hard-boiled and turned into colourful characters). Ben was there with his dislocated shoulder (snowboarding) in a very posh sling. Kate and Seth were preparing for a fancy-dress party). Kate is going as Super Ted! Charlie got out of bed just in time for a 2pm. lunch having just returned, over-night from skiing). It was bitterly cold but there was a window of sunshine late afternoon for walkers. Sam and beth preparing for a cross-Europe by train experience - 15 different countries at the last count. Mum and Dad came for 'tea' the other day. Dad a bit exhausted after the Eaglemoss office move. We don't think he actually lifted anything but he had to deal with the trauma of all his staff who weree moved from a 5-floor townhouse into a one-floor modern office!Granma and I leave London for France on Wednesday with a fully-laden car. As you know, Granma has to do all the driving these days. 5 hours on Wednesday and 7 hours on Thursday. I am the one who complains that that means I have to be a passenger for 12 hours!!
So...keep well, keep safe and keep on sending messages and photos.
Much love and big hugs from Granma and Toti

Hi happy campers, Thanks for taking the trouble to blog - it brightens my otherwise spam-filled e-day. Again, nothing much going on here - wind, rain, wind and frost a couple weeks ago that came out of the sky in actual bits - silver squares about 1mm square. Never seen anything like it. A celebration of coldness. Raining silver - BEE-ZAR. Tell me something, are the women in India still riding sidesaddle on the back of mopeds with their long scarves floating in the breeze, disconcertingly close to the wheels (think Isadora Duncan)? Love ya, take care - and PS: no ice!

wonderful photos. You are both photogenic - even in India, where you ar surrounded by colourful people all the time. The gales and floods etc. didn't reach the Mews. Kate has a job as receptionist at Mulbery's offices and an audition for a radio role as an American. Seth works un-godly hours behind the bar in a restaurant in Frith Street - so neither is having as much fun as two!! Dad J has pulled a calf muscle, skiing. We went to see "We are together" an amazing documentary about orphan children in an African village who sing as a choir. We leave for Menerbes on 26 March. Sara and Sam arrive 4 days later for the first of their 2008 trips to us. So life here is pretty normal - very different from where you are! Much love and big hugs. Gand T
