Outside the cafe with traffic passing and the gloom of the cloudy day hanging around i heard the lovely call of this magpie atop the wires ... Bird on a pole ... I wondered about his/her partner and being able to make out the call over the dense noisy din. Just after I took the photo, lo a text message from ms barry that I had been spotted camera to sky. All that happened while kirsty was checking out the rather confronting decor in the cafe loo.

Then we continued our talk while walked and found ourselves doing a spot of shopping. Some Pali text society books on the top shelf of the bodhi book store looked like good travel reading.

Then on to Leo monk where we admired and touched the hand made bags and kirsty found her brand new and simply gorgeous bag.
