Nine of us hired a boat to visit some of the islands off Hvar Island. The group was mainly comprised of brazilians with Germany and Australia thrown into the mix.

Our first stop was an hour's ride to a small cove where we changed to a smaller boat to go into the Blue Cave; it silenced us all with its beauty.

On to another blue light cave; a smaller light but equally amazing and enthralling.

The rest of the day was spent at nice swimming spots and a luxurious, long lunch.

Back to Stari Grad to the confounding Hotel Arkada where my matchbox room reminiscent of the cold war looks out onto the wonderfully peaceful bay. However the hotel runs entertainment every night - it's pretty loud and the music is a wide mix of bad polka to syrupy American love songs. I think I can find the humor in it.
