Andalusia, Spain
Day 4@costa del sol ,Malaga
Beautiful ,adventurous, scenic. Those are just a few of the many words I can use on the spur to define Ardelus,Malaga. We started early day today and hit the road by 5:45 am.Sunrise was yet to happen which meant we were accompanied by bright sparkling stars and dark black sky. They look like diamond jewels in the night sky glittering ,sparkling in the soft black hue of the sky .Very similar to a highstreet jeweller laying loose diamonds for sale to a customer by laying it on a velvet cloth. As we sped past roads, the motorway changed to a ghat road, city buildings to farms and the angle of road changed from flat to steep. We were scaling the beautiful mountains of Andulicia! This mountain range is blissful ,scenic to the core ! It is rich with Olive tree plantations, lime tree generations and rock cut mountains .The plantations gets denser ,road becomes narrower and clouds come closer as we move up the mountains. The view from the top is amazing ! We could catch a glimpse of the sunrise in the quiet mountain village and it felt ecstatic ! Just when we were looking for directions ,we got introduced to a kind Spanish village couple who were going to scale the heights of Caminito Del Rey .Little did we know that the next couple of hours would be spent in cheerful conversations,a visit to a coffee shop together and even hiking together for 4 miles! All this with the help of any App translating and communicating via Google from Spanish to English and vice versa. It indeed challenges the linguistic side of our brains which is idle since we stop learning new languages post high school. An inspiration to take and a note to make to keep learning new languages .With this happy and motivating thought I would bid goodbye for the day .Looking forward to another day of beautiful Andulucia tomorrow.Adios !
