Chilling, washing, shopping etc
Sunday, 24 July 2011 HoquianWe woke up this morning well rested. So after breakfast we looked at our options and decided a bit of laundry and catch-up were needed before we progressed further on our journey.
So we started the morning by unpacking Clancy, organising to stay another night getting change for the washing and charging the electronic equipment. After completing the washing, drying charging and repacking Clancy we headed downtown again.
This time we went straight to McDonald's - coffee and soft drink + internet and electricity and we spent the next two hours catching up and planning. The time delivered us a relaxing middle to our day with the accommodation for the evening settled it was all in all a fairly casual day.
After packing up we relocated Safeway to get some more ice for the esky and then headed back for our new home among the trees by the river bed. After getting back to the campground we undertook to make the evening meal and get ourselves cleaned up for the night. The nice thing about the riverbank is the sounds, the trees and the scenery. The mosquitos however are just that much more prevalent and aggressive. So we retired early with our plans for the next day ready to go exploring the Olympic National Park
Animals Spotted: nothing to note except for insects (read mosquitos).
