situated right outside the courthouse! Apparantly a french guy was having an affair with the judge's wife. The judge got mad and put him in prison despite him not having committed a crime. The adulterer paid his way out but had to return to France. He there commisioned this statue as a gift for the town. The powers that be mistakenly thought it was the Lady of Justice originally and placed it outside the court. Now they say it represents that there is justice within the court but injustice outside... i think the French guy got the last laugh
