Frank Wilds Grave
The ashes of Frank Wild were moved to Grytviken only a few weeks before we visited so it was the crew's first time seeing him buried next to Shackleton. Wild was Shackletons right hand man and was in charge of the group left behind on Elephant Island for 4 months (much of it during winter). He is an unsung hero of the Endurance story in my opinion. Keeping the men sane during that time would not have been easy!

karina I am so glad he is finally where he always wanted to be. We toasted him on board when we got the news he was finally buried.
