There were 2 male tortoises, and 12 females found on Santiago island, but the males wouldnt breed with the females. This tortoise was then brought from where he ad been living in Sandiego Zoo. He immediately began to mate with the females, and somehow that encouraged the other 2males. Now there are over 20000 new tortoises thanks to him, and some of his children have started to breed.
