Its Fiona this time! So after franz josef, we headed down to wanaka for a day (a mini version of queenstown). Really cool place, skiing looked amazing, would have loved to stay longer. But we had to move on to the infamous queenstown. And what a place it is!!!!! I did 3 days snowboarding with a load of peeps from our kiwi bus. absolutely fantastic!! Being a skier, i wasn't keen on going back to being a beginner. but i had such an awesome time!! By day 3 i was zipping down (with little grace or style) with the pro lads off our bus. I was left with very bruised bum and knees and my body ached so much i couldnt move in bed at night. I also did the 'nevis' bungy jump (134m high) while in Q-town. Absolutely terrifying but absolutely amazing. i'd do it again in a flash! I look an idiot in my video. Ha. i think i was so scared that sub-consciously i was trying to fly, so was circling my arms in the air for the whole jump. Pipster and i both loved our time in queenstown. an complete party town full of travellers! A class 5 days! so sad to leave, especially as this is where we say goodbye to everyone from our kiwi bus as we all go our separate ways. we'v met some quality people and had an amazing 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
