Monument Valley, Utah
We traveled to Monument Valley with Darlene and David. The road was too bad for us to drive the entire 17 miles, but we were able to see a lot of impressive rock formations.

Heber, Arizona
We're out of the desert and into the mountains about 20 miles from Heber. It has been overcast all day and much colder. Luckily, we didn't have a ballgame today. This is good traveling weather. We should get to David and Darlene's around 5 or 5:30.
Shiprock, New Mexico
From a great distance, this rock looks like a ship's sails (Hence the name Shiprock). The town was named Shoprock because it was located near this rock. When we can see it in the distance, we know we are getting close to where Darlene lives.
Mesa, Arizona
There was a lot going on at the ball park. Here I am with someone dressed up as a cow. (Don't really know why). What does a cow have to do with Chick Filet or with the ballgame?

The Cubbies finally won today 10-4 against the Rockies. It was a fun day. Soriano hit two home runs, and we were there to see it.
The picture is of one of the vendors at Hohokam Park. He was pretty entertaining too.
