Well we planned to leave Ngepi camp at 7am, not that this actually happened. We spent a good deal of time waiting for the reception to open so we could all pay our bar tabs, and then it took them at least 20 minutes to calculate each of them. We ended up leaving late at 8:30am which was not a great start to the day as we had a long drive. Oh well, TIA.(This is Africa)
We finally set off in the truck for Botswana again and drove to a different border. We filled out all the paper work again and crossed into Botswana. From the border it wasn't very far too where we were camping in Chobe National Park. On the way into the park, we saw elephants crossing the road, which was really special.
When we arrived, we put up our tents and went for a look around. We were camping on the safari lodge property so there were quite a few up market lodge guests around as well as a few warthogs. I went off exploring for a bit, before having a quick dip in the pool before dinner.
