Yesterday in the dunes was amazing, they stretch for 75 miles. We will cross the Tropic of Capricorn today on the way to our first hotel of the tour!

It's 5am and we are on our way to watch the sunrise at the top of Dune 45 in the Namib National Park. It's going to be a long day!

We arrived in Namibia yesterday and it's HOT. Few beers last night sat by the Orange River and swam in it this morning after hitting a rock in a canoe.

We are making the most of free wifi in a restaurant on the waterfront to blog. We have been down to Cape Point today, the furthest south western point of Africa. Tomorrow we are heading into the winelands for a tasting or two so don't expect any sense from either of us for a few days. There is no way I'm spitting rather than swallowing!
