After 48 days and 9424km (5856 miles) our journey from Cape Town to Nairobi is over. We are now recovering in a nice hotel with hot showers and a real bed!
The trip over southern Africa, from South Africa, through Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania to Kenya has forced every emotion from joy to sorrow, from pleasure to pain and from understanding to disbelief.

We fly back to London tomorrow night but until then there are two more 'Tusker' beers waiting for us by the pool!
