San Diego is a great city, we stayed twice as long as we thought we would and really enjoyed exploring it. The Gas Lamp Quarter is great and we even managed to work out the tram system! We spent ages at the Zoo and walking around Bilboa Park and took the city tour on a "Trolley".

Today we rented a car, got a free upgrade to a Jeep and left San Diego. We took the Pacific Coast Road (the "1") up to Los Angeles. We called in to Huntington, Long & Venice Beaches then from Santa Monica we headed through Beverley Hills where we nearly had a collision with Joan Rivers!

We are staying a short walk from Hollywood Boulevard and tonight was the premiere of 'Race to Witch Mountain' so after a visit to the Chinese Theatre we watched as the Limos arrived dropping off people we didn't recognise, until The Rock turned up. Got a great photo as he stood in front of us!

Tomorrow we'll head back to the "1" after a drive out to see the HOLLYWOOD sign and a cruise through Beverley Hills.
