Hi Pete...Loved your blog. I am sure your previous teachers would love it too! It is Monday morning, it is wet, cold and miserable...the last place you want to be is work, I have got practice tonight after work though and I thought I would take your Yamaha bass for a change (it does work ok, I checked it yesterday) Where is Ingrid by the way? did you give her to someone? We went to the Glee Club on Saturday night which was really good, we went with Judith and Steve (it was their Christmas present from us)...think they enjoyed it. Took the dog to the river yesterday and mum slipped on the bank and nearly fell in...falling over is bad enough, imagine seeing the dog running towards you thinking it is part of the game...funny. You will be pleased to know your room has been tidied up last week by mum...and rentokill, who we had to call to get rid of some of the new life forms that have been living there for some time now they think...Harry can be found in there all the time now....now it's safe for him! We had to decline an offer from a film company who wanted to film Resident Evil in there. Better go and do some work I guess...my job would be so much easier (and better) if I didn't have to deal with customers. Dad

Great blog Pete... but I've got to ask, whatever happened to your good intentions to teach using positive reinforcement?!!!!!! Dont tell me; you've used all those stickers to decorate your room.....And of course now I understand why you were asking how to make an omelette!! Mxx

Loving reading this stuff Pete! Kirby only sends short texts. Your stuff gives more of a "flavour" (mostly a flavour of fish sauce). Haven't heard any complaints about the heat so you guys must be coping all right. Sounds like you're now on top of the teaching thing. Can't wait for more pictures from any of you.

Pete...detailed instructions for making an omlettte...will you be using Ostrich eggs? if so you may only need one of these : )
Put the pan on to heat with a little of the oil in it (not too much, about 2 tbspns max)
Break the eggs into a dish and whisk them with a fork untill well mixed add a little salt and pepper.
When the oil has blue huey smoke rising from it pour in the whisked egg, have a fork or flat wooden spatular ready, and as the egg mix starts to bubble keep bringing the cooked parts gently into the centre. This gradually allows the omellete to set into a pancake style consistency.
Carefully tap the pan so that the cooked omelette moves and slightly overlaps the pan edge.
Gently fold this overlap in toward the centre it should only go one third distance.
Now arrange your chosen filling in the centre of the omelette and fold the other edge in towards the middle. If you have done this properly, when you turn it out onto a plate the omelette should fill a third of the plate leaving room for your vegetable and salad garnish. Or you may wish to garnish with the salad and serve the vegetables seperately.
ENJOY!

Put some videos up!, a blog doesnt always have to be written...just a thought :)

Dear Pete,I'm having lots of fun finding all the things that you kindly left for me, in our room.....the dirty bowls and plates were best, but I also like the smelly socks, sweet wrappers and tissues. Lots to lick and chew..thanks! Dill
ps are your 4 legged buddies 'Thy work will be done' and 'Atomic' as cute as me?

Hi Pete. it all sounds fasinating. Never mind about a picture of them dancing lets hope you get caught on camera preferably in your shirt while making your moves. What age are the children in you groups and how many? What standard is their english? Have thought about you alot, especially when I have had a difficult lesson. Only last week one of my year 7's (he is autistic) didnt like what I asked him to do and flung himself on the floor. Ignore him I thought until I realised he was eating the chewing gum stuck under the table!! On a positive note Tom and I had a great Grandparent day with Will yesterday while Amy and Chris start packing up. Tom is teaching him all about wildlife from Ducks on the brook to Hughs chickens. They are hoping their house sale is going through in the next few weeks so fingers crossed. Your headteacher sounds a lovely man good to know you are being well looked after. Lots of love x

Hi pete it`s good to see your enjoying yourself.
I hear you have a problem with the electrics,i know a good electrician cheap rates call out charge could be exspensive.
You will have to give me a drawing for your new en-suit when you get home.
Hope all goes well with the teaching.

Hi pete, glad everything's going ok. If they can't understand you, you'll just have to use one of your many accents which your so talented at... kind of. ;). Good luck with the whole football coaching, (your gonna need it). Looking forward to your next post.

Hi Pete. Another great blog mate. I love the idea of the kids out there not being able to understand you...John Bishop last night described the Brummie accent as a clanger that has had a stroke! maybe this is what they are hearing?? lol Has Mr Heyford decided how much he is giving me for mum? I thought maybe a couple of goats and some fu fu?...do you think I am asking too much?
I am not sure what to make of you as the football coach....he obviously couldn't ask Kirby to do it cos they don't play football over there do they...they seem to have adopted all the games that girls play over here as there main sports..Basketball (Netball), Baseball (Rounders). Anyway Fabio, look forward to your next blog. Dad (who is actually younger than mum), must have been a bad photo.
