Potosi and Tupiza 5th - 8th MayIt was only a 3 hour bus journey from Sucre to Potosi which was a relative joy after a few trips we´ve had and we got a good look at the Cerro Rico (rich mountain) as we arrived as it really dominates the skyline. Sucre 29th April - 4th MayAfter getting off the bus a bit jaded following the overnight bus journey from Cochabamba, Sucre was a breath of fresh air to say the least. Cochabamba - 26th and 27th AprilWe decided to break with the Gringo Trail slightly and head to Cochabamba from La Paz rather than go straight to Sucre like everyone else which proved to be a bit of a mistake. La Paz - 23rd to 25th AprilNext bus journey was to La Paz which was supposed to take about 6 hours. We arrived a bit later as the sodding bus ran out of petrol about half an hour from the city - I s*** you not. Everyone got off and started flagging down cabs rather than wait for a refill as the driver just ran off to find fuel and his mates just kept telling us he´d be back in ´5 minutes´ despite us waiting for over 20 minutes.
