Hey you guys! It s Paul, yeah I am doing this trip too you monkeys! Sorry about the lack of photos but the computers are too slow to put any on at the mo, but their worth waiting for - trust me. As you can see we are in Lao s at the present which we prefer to mainland Thailand. It s a lot more laid back so weve chilled out at bit. From thailand we took a two day boat trip on the Mekong river which was fantastic. To sound like my dad the scenery was beautiful, rather like we boating down a nam river in any yank war film. " oh I love the smell of Pad Thai in the morning!" We made friends with loads of peeps from all over the world and hopefully will catch up with a few further down the line. Sadly today the inevitable happened and we were both crook, and we felt like zombies walking down the street to here. Tommorrow we are going to get up for the 'Morning Alms' at 6 O' CLOCK. Where all the monks of the town gather and walk to their monastry, whislt collecting their food for the day of the passers by. I have renamed this 'Monk Parade' and have my rotten eggs and tomatoes ready (only kidding). Moving on tommorrow too, so will talk soon, eh? Miss you guys, Paul and Linda xxx
