Friday the 8th February we rode the famous Teleférico. Leaving at 8 am we boarded the cablecar with lots of other, mostly Venezuelan tourists. Stopping at four intermediate stations before ending at just under 5000 meters. Just a quick message to let you know we are alive and well in Venezuela and thoroughly confused about the corrupt way you have to get your money!... We are going back over the border into Brazil to draw out cash in Reis and changing it on the black market at the border so we can get twice the amount of Venezuelan Bolívars than we could get out using the conventional cash point.
