Hello, I am back in Shanghai. We got off the ship yesterday (Sunday in Singapore). It's been a blast, but I miss home. I have so much to share. Some I have forgotten. Hopefully, the photos will bring it back. Free Wi-Fi is a luxury. So I am blogging while I can. I should be in L A today. It's going to be strange because it will be 13 hours difference. I know what the sun rising in the East really means.

We were in Singapore yesterday. I went to the site to see this lion. Singapore is beautiful. It is clean and they are very strict. Gum is not allowed. I went through security with gum in my purse. It was inspected. I was able keep it because I was getting on the ship. I am not sure that it would have been allowed otherwise.

I feel very blessed to be a citizen of the USA. With all of her problems, I think we are a lot better off. In one trip I saw the best and the worst. The people seem oblivious to terrible conditions. Viet Nam is pitiful in the north and in the middle parts of the country. Ho Chi Ming (formerly Saigon) is nice and modern.

China was freezing cold and Viet Nam and points south were burning hot. In 10 days I experienced these extremes.
