Merry Christmas from Lisbon, Portugal. We are on another Ken/Jenine adventure accomplishing a mileage run for Ken. Like last year, he needed a few more miles to make 1k the top tier at United, which helps in many ways for the frequent traveler. Last year he needed a BUNCH, around 20k, which was the reason we went to Cambodia. The birds were still chirping, but the sun was in hiding when we woke this morning. We enjoyed another breakfast thanks to Mylene, and then plotted the activities for the day. The title to this entry is in honor of the unknown soldiers buried in the American Cemetery in Normandy.  We all woke to birds chirping and sunshine, after a quiet night on the Normandy Coast.
