We have been busy here in Charleston, SC. We took a carriage ride of downtown Charleston and we viewed many historic homes and churces. Afterwards, we walked up & down King Street, through the Open Market and had breakfast at the Broken Egg.

On 10/28/16 we visiited the Biltmore Estate, which is fabulous. The estate is 8,000 acres with lush gardens, winery, hotels & restaurants. Definitely worth seeing!

Fun day at the NC Arboretum. Beautiful 65 acres of cultivated gardens and seasonal landscape exhibits, 10 miles of natural woded trails for walking, hiking and biking, rotating art, science and educational exhibit.

Arrived in Sevierville, TN, home of Dolly Parton, on October 18 and are leaving 10/26. It's been great fun exploring the area - from Sevierville to Pigeon Forge and on to Gatlinburg. Went to the Dixie Stampede last night for dinner and a fabulous show. Also explored The Villages in Gatlinburg, Bush's Beans and the famous Apple Barn here in Sevierville. We arrived in Nashville, TN on October 11, 2016. We were scheduled to stay for a week but wished we had scheduled a month because there is so much to do. Of course, we did the obvious tourist things - went to the Grand Ole Opry and strolled down Broadway which is loaded with bars, restaurants and musicians. We also visited the famous Ryman Theater which was fabulous!
