Hi Pam, Happy New Year! I just received a letter from the Dept. of State offering a schoalrship to go to China to study the language for the summer. I was so excited. There's only one problem though. I had to have 2 years of Mandarin and not one semester. I had my bags packed. Oh Well. Maybe something else will come up. Can't wait to hear about your trip. It's been so cool for you to share this amazing trip with us. I can't wait to see what's next. So are you gonna open a private animal practice when you get home?

Hi Pam, of course we are reading your blogs, speaking for myself, I am vacationing vicariously with you. I hope you are having fun in Thailand, I hear they have great American food there.
I'll bet you can't wait to ride that trolley to the top of Kilimanjaro.
Pam
Hey everyone!
Deb...I hope you have good weather! I haven't checked for the package yet...on the 16th I will.
Lisa...How is Cassandra doing on Amici???
Sandi...Thanks for all of your comments, are you getting much snow there?
Unfortunately, I have had to take a few counties off of the travel list...Most obviously: Kenya but also Sri Lanka is having some new trouble as well. Kilimanjaro is still on, but now I'm a bit out of shape from eating to much great food and drinking a lot of cold beer...hopefully, I'll make the full climb. I have about 10 days to shape up....yeah right.
Sandi
Hi Pam,
Well after that experience, I'd sure be ready for the beach and drinks It looks beautiful and your bungalow looks great. Have a great time and keep sending those great updates and pictures.
Love, Sandi

Hey Hi! At work we were wondering where in the world you were! It all looks incredible, Pam. Have you passed through Bankok again to pick up your hiking package?
Heading to Florida for a few days this coming week - anticipating sun and a great book (or two)! Take good care, Deb
