Landed in Londres.. Chris met me at Mile End tube.. It was midnight on Sat night & he was looking forlorn as he had lost 20 squid which wasn't his bless...
London was buzzing I love London there's always something going on and it's normally good.. We were just having a few drinks and the music really wasnt that loud but one disgruntled neighbour decided to vent his anger but as he put it "watering the plants" which actually meant throwing water over whoever was out in the garden!! You gotta love his ingenuity! Welcome to London city!
Feeling a combination of tiredness & slight hungoverness on a Sunday tube is not the most pleasant experince but hey Im on my holidays all part of the experience!!
Next stop - Camden town - buzzing, heaving packed... Lively vibrant markets and colourful people.. Weather was gorgeous - unusual for England not so for London.. Londoners and tourists alike revelling in the fact that it was Sunday and drinking to forget Monday morning in the not so distant future...
We drank at a cool bar where we were subjected to a "Kill me now I hate life" singer.. Ahh well it gave us something to talk about when we slagged him! A sniper guitarist came rushing out obviously he only needed topped up from the night before as long as he was enjoying himself..
Being a "city boy" & being "What it's all about"... It's actually an "awesome place" you know!?
I pretended to appreciate the rugby but really why pretend!? Good game from South Africa though roll on the final next week...
Met my friend from Brazil Elisana's friend Cleverson he was lovely.. We went to a brazilian "pay & weigh" restaurant how I love brazilian food.. We think we remember each other from Univale 5 years ago when I was there it is a small random world.. Then we bridged the cultural divide by going to O'Neills..
We hopped on the busy busy busy tube going to Heathrow if you're claustrophobic forget it!! Thought I was late so was agitated going through security which is apparently why the machine went off not cos it detected I had anything metallic! I don't know where will technology stop!?
Boarded the plane to Hong Kong quite sad I wouldn't be seeing the UK for a considerable time.. In the middle of the night I was startled by the Italian guy literally scrambling across me to get out - honestly why couldnt he have just woken me up as I had to get out anyway all he wanted to do was to stare at the poor woman who had fainted in the aisle..
There were a few kids on the flight their parents looked exhausted - note to self.. Put off having children for very long time!!
