Well after nearly leaving my camera at dad's house - thanks dad and then nearly leaving my passport in the photocopier at mum's house - thanks mum I set off for the adventure of a lifetime well of my lifetime anyway!!
[Don't worry about me getting myself around the world Im a seasoned traveller!! ]
Next obstacle was a diversion at the Ballymacbrennan crossroads as there was a burnt out car - Good old "Norn Iron" giving me a proper send off with fond memories of the homeland!
Got to Dublin airport & after first educating myself & then showing Doreen & Cedric (two lovely American tourists) we all got checked in - wished each other our respective safe flights & got on our separate ways...
Just a slight 45mins delay with good old Aer Lingus nothing as notable as Im sure I'll have to face in the future - due to fog at Heathrow and I was off...
You gotta love Vodaphone's airport advertising - I wonder how much the company got paid -
"You could spend your life in Paris and never get bored...."
I beg to differ not having a job or speaking the lingo would probably increase the liklihood of boredom?! But then again I am but a mere backpacker....
I like this one though -
"Wouldn't you like to meet the guy who invented the cuckoo clock and ask him, Why?!"
Undoubtedly two of life's pressing questions bring on the land of cheese, chocolate & precise time devices - MWAH!!
