Just quick update from St. petersburg. It was gtreat, loads to see, met teh vodkatrain guys. There are twelve of us in total, 5 irish, 3 english (boo) 2 aussies and 2 kiwis. The honcho system 9 a guide in each city) to help is great as was teh city. Hostel was on the grimy side but passable although there was a mosquito problem.there is no english signage in st. p either and its not full of toutrista like most other polkaces i've been so twas an experience

The hermitage was great, but really takes it out of you, went to church of teh saviour of spilled blood (in teh photo) st. issacs and got a serious culture fix with ballet (swan lake) and tradituional dance show including the cossack dancing which was great.

anyway will add more later but i am hogging the net in hostel and must go.
