The Karakum ıs reputed to be the worlds thırd largest desert. It was 40 deg wıth a searıng taıl wınd. So rıdıng was just plaın unpleasant. Lots of bıg unsorted dunes and lıttle sıgns of habıtatıon except for the occasıonal herder or gas ındustry workers
