There are lots of cute little picnic stops along this highway. Thet would be very pleasant places to stop but most have a staggering amount of rubbish and litter. No bins and no toilets makes for a strong level od tolerance of smell and lack of cleanliness. There are comic signs discouraging littering but they are totally ignored
