I had lost my fellow companions and called into a local farm to check on my whereabouts. I was instantly invited into their home. The wife prepared some fresh bread, yoghurt dip and a pot of milky sweet, salty tea. The whole family sat around the table whilst I tried my best to use my language book to communicate. Eventually the grand papy arrived and he had quite a personality. The wife was dressed in a beautiful embroided top with a silver brooch on the front. Despite their shyness, their hospitality is what I will remember forever. Mongolian people are salt of the earth and we can all learn from their behaviour
