Day 20 Norseman to Esperance. Camping at Cape Le Grand National Park, Lucky Bay where kangaroos come down to the beach and laze around. Dinner was 'bush curry' with potatoes and rice, definitely one to make again. Overnight: Lucky Bay campsite Distance 445km

Day 19 Spent the day exploring the Kalgoorlie-Boulder mining area and the huge super pit 500m deep that they have dug into the ground as well as some of the enormous machinery use. To fill one of the Cat dumper trucks it takes 6000 litres of diesel which even makes our Discovery look good! Overnight: Norseman caravan park Distance: 400km

Day 18 Checked out the sights of Norseman which didn't take very long at all. Aparently the oldest continuously operating gold mine in Australia but it can't be getting that much out of it given the current state of the town. If it wasn't located where it was, at the end of the townless Nullarbor, I doubt anyone would stop here. Day 17 Huge driving day across the rest of the Nullarbor to Norseman. Not a huge amount to see apart from the Bunda cliffs and driving through over various strips of road used as Royal Flying Doctors Emergency. Overnight: Norseman All tourist park Distance: 920km
