We had the traditional barbie for Australia Day, celebrated with friends.
Weather very untraditional with rain so we missed the day at the beach.

Arrived in Oz.
It's great to be spending time with the family before heading off to New Zealand.
Weather is wonderful, clear blue skies & high twenties. Making good use of the pool.

Hollywood here we come.
This is certainly la-la land! Some very strange sights, very expensive cars & houses.
Beverley Hills much nicer than Hollywood. A fitting end to a fun few days.

Final leg has brought us to LA, into Posh & Bec's country. Certainly some very glamourous people here.
Again drove all along the coast passing though Malibu & Santa Monica, waves not big enough for any surfing.
We are staying on Sunset Strip & going to do the touristy bit tomorrow & look at the houses of the stars. Who knows we may find something to our liking!!

Leaving San Francisco to follow the Pacific Highway, stopping of at Monterey first.
Lovely scenery all the way down but a bit too bendy for the driver!!
