We made it to Port Hedland today, were staying at my nephew Michael & Kristie's house in South Hedland tonight. Tomorrow we are heading out to Coongan Station where we lived as kids and site-seeing along the way. Then off to Marble Bar for the night. We are really looking forward to that.

I think last night was the first full nights sleep i have had in 18 months, there must be something in the air up here that i need more of. This area of the country is my favourite, brings back so many memories unfortunately tommorrow is our time to move on to Port Headland for more adventures, family and friends. We finally made it to Point Samson and now it is time to slow down relax an enjoy the rest of our trip, we stayed in a room at Manilya last night the girls had a good night sleep, I as usual had very little. Today we came straight to Point Samson and set up camp. It was home to one of the most beautiful, blue oceans I have ever seen. Our first stop was in Minilya where we stayed in a donga. It definetley gave me a taste of reality. It was pretty cold, dewy and smelly. It wasn't very pleasant but we toughed it out and had a great night. Can't wait to see more of what WA has to offer us. Stay tuned. X

Well its been a wait but we are finally packed car loaded and we are ready to leave. The chemo knocked me around a bit so we have already lost too much time so we have to skip some of the lower West of the trip and make haste for Karratha and then Port Hedland. Midnight tonight we are off on the road and we are all well rested and ready to rock. Hooray
