I have now been in Vancouver for a week and have extended my time here by another week as I am having such a good time and there is so much to see and do. I have hooked up with some really cool people and we have hired a car for a week. Over the weekend we drove to Kelowna which in the winter season is a ski town and very pretty. We were invited to a boat party there for someones birthday so had a really good night and got smashed once again. On the second night we drove further east to a place called Penticton which is a very small town, we stayed with a friend of a friend who also owns a bar so we had a really good night in Penitcton and got megga smashed, enjoyed some sun and the beautiful scenery which is in a huge abundance here. On our 5 hour drive back to Vancouver we spotted a wild black bear by the road side so we spun the car around and jumped out to take some pictures and one of the guys Ben ran over to the bear to get some video footage and we thought he was going to get eaten by the bear but the bear climbed up a hill so he had some distance between them! He manged to get some brilliant footage of the bear and I got some good pics!! Have spoken to people that have lived here for years and never seen a bear so we were priveldged! We are now back in Vancouver as one of our mates was being auctioned off at a party tonight for charity and managed to go for 200 dollars..not bad! Tomorrow we are going to head off for another couple of days to Vancouver island which is meant to be amazing and the island itself is bigger than Great Britain..wow! The people here are soooo friendly and accomodating and really know how to have a good time!! The weather has been terrible in Vancouver so we are keeping our fingers crossed that tomorrow will be nice as a day on the beach wont go amiss! Thats all from Canada right now, I'm off to bed to recover from a full week of partying so will be nice and fresh for the next road trip! Seeeeee ya's!XXX
