Time has a diiferent feel here, slow and cozy. People have always time for a long leisurly chat, ponctually is within an hour. There is time when work finishes at 3:30 for some surfing and another chat... Nobody seems to mind the traffic jams, the drivers will let you pass with a smile. Even the sunset over the Pacific takes its time, to make sure its palet of colours is truly memorable...
After three days of relaxation, overlooking Maxim and Callum playing with kids, enjoying the pool and the beach, our wonderfull friends took us to a motu. Yes, I asked too. A motu is a tiny coral island. This one was a ten minutes boat ride from the main island and offered cristal clear waters, myriad of fishes in all the colour of the rainbow, luxuriant shade and the smell of vanilla pods drying in the sun... Did you say eden... We snorkeled and explored, swam and relaxed by the water and under the trees... Maxim was suddently part of a group of holiday care tahitian kids for the whole afternoon, he could have stayed there for the night with them. It was quite hard to leave this magical spot behind...
