Blog 111 An easy couple of days in Kathmandu after the bike trip was just what we needed. Drinking beer, starting the Christmas shopping, eating Israeli, Nepalese and Tibetan food and preparing for our next adventure. Blog 110 Rested up, we jumped back onto our bikes for our final uphill of our trip. A 1 hour steep assent to the Buddhist pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha monastery revisited the sore bottom situation. Finally arriving at the top, a coke and a bag of crisps staved off the hunger while we explored the hilltop. Blog 109 Day 2 began with a steep 4km climb up to tower hill.
