Currently in Avignon, which is an amazing little town by the way, I am recovering from the past week where I made it from Madrid to here. I passed by Segovia to have a look at the Alcazar, which was the model for the castle that is the Disney logo and then headed North to San Sebastian and finally the French border. I spent a few days in Bordeaux, but saw everything rather quickly, so decided to head East towards the Provence. Marseille is a lovely city, but I prefer the smaller places like Avignon (also Saint-Maries-de-la-mere is amazing, shame you can't go swimming in the sea this time of year). All in all it has been an exciting week and I hope to keep it that way, by travelling to Paris within the next couple of days.
