After a 24 hour bus journey from the capital of Laos we are currently in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. We got the capital of Laos by a one hour bus journey, 20kilometers of kayaking, then another 1 1/2 hours on a bus. Shill and Beni (the V12's) fell out and sank continuously. The journey on the bus here was a nightmare as we had no leg room, no toilet and everyones luggage at their feet. We stopped at the border between Laos and Vietnam for 5 hours. Nick and Bitza got a room and the rest slept on the bus. We finally arrived in Hanoi last night and went for a bite to eat and a beer. Today we went to the Hoh Chi Minh museum and the great western lake. We have booked a tour tomorrow to the north of Vietnam to a place called Ha Long Bay where we will do kayaking etc round the islands. Hanoi itself is a crazy place and traffic like we have never experienced before. Oh and Gav and Shill got a cut throat shave today at one of the market stalls....pics to follow. We are all fine and doing well. Hard to believe its the 4th Dec and roasting....haha!
