1) Yes, if you're lucky, or engaged to an Englishman, you CAN watch the Rugby World Cup in the US. I think I'm beginning to understand it all, even.

2) Stay in Europe for as long as you need to, Sean ... it's fun hanging around with your parents!

3) The Indians clinched the AL Central today, OSU crushed Northwestern, and, well, I'm not sure what else is good news to report.

Sean, I have a photo of my mother at Olglebay, in front of the putt-putt silo that looks suspiciously like your "Joan of Arc was burned here" photo. I'm excited you went to Rouen, because it's somewhere I've always wanted to go.

Nick, I understand your frustration about practicing your languages. While leaving the airport, I had a discussion with a security guard, where he spoke English, and I spoke French. It didn't dawn on me until after I'd left the area ... Stay safe, guys! Have fun.
