This morning we headed up to Phoenix and did a return trip on the Metro Light Rail from One end to the other. Ken & Chris had never done the trip before so they also saw things that they didn't know where they were so intend to use the system a bit more in the future. It's only $3.50 for an all day pass and it takes just over an hour to get from one side to the other. We certainly saw some characters on the train also. There are so many varied suburbs in Phoenix and the light rail goes through housing areas as well as the city, university, Chase Stadium and even past the airport. When we got back from there we headed into Buckeye to the Christmas celebrations and street parade. We met their friends Mark and Barb there also. We looked at the arts and crafts displays, watched some of the entertainment and ate yummy hot dogs before watching the street parade. There were different floats with lots of Christmas lights, local bands etc. and everyone had a lovely time watching the parade. After that we went off to Areeba's Mexican Restaurant for dinner. We've been there a few times before so I knew I was going to have some great food. We left there so full………………. as usual.
