4/4/09 Well here we are in Laughlin Nevada.We left Kingman yesterday morning and went to the Grand Canyon West.What an experience that was! 14 miles of the road was dirt and supposedly graded daily but we only found a section about ½ a mile long that didn't have ruts in it. Well we've made it back to USA!We left Brisbane right on time and had a bit of a bumpy flight but otherwise uneventful.We weren't lucky enough to get as much sleep as we did last time though.A bit squeezier in the seats!We picked up the hire car at LAX and left LA at 8am and started heading south.We called into Long Beach and saw the ex cruise ship the Queen Mary which has been made into a floating hotel then on to San Jean Capistrano to see the mission there bef...
