Nosheen's travels
Hey
You'l probably be pleased to know that we hit rainy season in Australia so we've had constant rain for a couple of weeks! boo!. However, being the grumps we are, we decided to change our flights and destinations to leave the rain and come to sunny Singapore for a while before Thailand. So far we've visited a few temples etc in little india, arab street (hee hee), Ruffles place, and the night safari!. We got so close to loads of scary animals it was wicked ( lions, tigers bears, flying squirrels ...)
Before leaving Australia we did a sailing trip to the Whitsundays, Had a go at surfing (very amusing!), saw some dolphins whilst Cayaking! and visted Cape tribulation- a place where the Reef meets rainforest. Our WhitSundays Cruise was loads of fun even though it rained the whole time. The plan of sleeping on the deck under the stars wasnt really that appealing in a storm!. Ive decided that i officially hate snorkling now. Our Sailor thought it would be amusing to chuck fish food on my head, so that a million fish attacked me, flipping all over me- ergh!. The Sailing was lots of fun though- the racing boat tipped right on its side to cut through the water which was well dangerous as we all had to run from side to side attempting to stay on! We had three dolphins following us which was pretty cool!
Cape Tribulation was a lovely way to finish Australia. It was so relaxing and beautiful. We did lots of night rain forest walks etc. No matter how high i tuck my mini mouse socks into my trousers (geek!) i still get bitten to pieces!. The beach was a little scary as it was damaged by the Cyclone.
We're going to Bankok tommorow and then Thailand for the last month.
