Where: "La Taberna" bar - Nasca, Peru. abv: 5% Notes: One of my favourite beers to drink in the UK, I was pleased to see that not only is it just about everywhere in Peru, it also comes in different sizes and flavours! Here we have the 500ml grande and 330ml piquito/chica version. They do a negra variety and in Cusco I spotted a different red label (I think) variety, sadly, didnt have time between bouts of sickness to sample them yet. Regular Cusquena is the only Latin American beer brewed to Bavarian purity laws and allegedly does not give you a hangover.....
