Today we left for Taupo, on the way we visited huka falls which is a large waterfall. It was beautiful, the water looked ice cold and was clear blue. So today we went luging! This was great fun. We had to get a cable car up which overlooked rotorua and the lake. We had 3 luge rides which meant we could go on the beginners, intermediates and then onto the expert run. Felicity's face was a picture, she was really concentrating hard on the guys instructions so that she didn't fall out the car! Today we got up and left for waitomo. On the way we stopped for a walk which took us through some old railway tunnels on the side of a gorge. It was pritty cool! So this afternoon we got to hot water beach about 1.30. Our hostel is like 5 star accommodation compared to the hostel on Fiji mainland! We are sharing with two guys that we met on the bus and a really lovely couple from England. Today we left Fiji at 9am and landed in New Zealand about 12.30. I was so excited to see Uncle Chris and Carol that I got tearful when I first saw them! It's so lovely to be with family! From the airport Chris and Carol took us to a Buddhist temple for lunch. It was delicious!
