Hello! I haven't figured out yet how to say anything in Czech. I travelled from Vienna to this little town yesterday afternoon/evening. A train delay caused me to miss the train I needed to this little town, so I took a cab. Not cheap, but not too bad. This little town is touristy, but so precious. Narrow cobblestoned streets and tiny bars and restaurants that are cheap (I had a lunch and a drink for 105 Kr today (5 bucks...ish.) There is also a huge castle here that I will visit tomorrow. A river winds through town and there is canoeing and tubing available. I hoping tomorrow will be sunny. Today is just craptacular. Cool and rainy, yuck. The hostel I'm in is so cute. The building must be an original with the town, but has been restored and is very cozy. Just 8 beds in each of the two dorms. A lot of single travellers, no big groups here. Tonight I'll go to dinner with a few of the people. They seem to do a lot here as a hostel group. Today I walked around though and visited shops. Also did a brewery tour. That got old quick though, enough talking, when do we get to try the beer. Speaking of beer, HUGE mugs for ...50 cents ish. Crazy. I love the small towness here. I may just stay here instead of trying to tackle Prague in a hurry.
Internet is pretty cheap here. I'll try to upload pictures tomorrow. For real this time. Max and Teresa, do you think you could upload the pics from the CD if you get time? I'm thinking you won't have the time though. That's ok.
Love you all! Keep reading!
