Yo dudes!

So after an action packed few days in Fraser Island we headed south to Noosa, the drive wasn't that long this time which made a nice change. We arrived in Noosa about 10:30am and our hostel had a free shuttle bus from the bus station so we didn't even have to walk very far.

Our hostel room was lovely and we had our own double room as it didn't cost us anymore to upgrade, there was also a TV so we could catch up on some of the Olympic happenings after being on an island for 3 days. The weather was lovely so we decided to go for a walk around and try and get our bearings. There are two main areas in Noosa: Main beach and Noosa junction. We were a little way from both but our hostel had a free bus that left every hour so it wasn't much hassle.

On our second day we headed to the beach to relax and get some sunbathing in. The weather was lovely and Noosa beach wasn't too busy either. We wondered round the little surf shops and avoided going in the expensive restaurants opting for cheese and ham sandwiches that we made at home. Our friends Debbie and Ben came and met us later on and we treated ourselves to a drink in one of the nice beach side bars before getting the shuttle back for an early night.

Our final day we headed to Noosa junction which had a few shops and a cinema. Around lunch time we met Ben and Debbie again at their hostel and had a BBQ by sunshine beach. The sun was still out but it was very windy which made it a bit colder than the other days but we still enjoyed sitting in the sun eating burgers and having a few drinks, living the Aussie lifestyle!

Noosa is such a lovely place really chilled out and laid back, i think if we had more money i t would of been a lovely place to holiday. Plus when the weather is right ben could go surfing however it was too clam when we were there. I loved all the little surf shops with nice dresses and jewellery. It was a nice change from the fast paced Fraser Island and was exactly what we needed to wind down before we head into the city of Brisbane!!
