I am very jealous of you, it is bloody freezing here now and to make it worse the roads are very icy at 8 am, and me being the wonderful driver i am had a litlle spinning incident on the way to work this morning and ended up with a bust tyre facing the wrong way round on a corner, d'oh. Luckily nobody was coming other way. Argh, hate black ice. Rats.

Hi Nic..Singapore was really fantastic and we loved every minute of it..I am still thinking of the wonderful accommodation at "The Oriental" but very glad we did not have to pay for it. Enjoy the wonderful weather in Aust. as we are freezing here in the UK and am checking the "Flight Dealls" for a cheap warm destination..however since you and I did a "Little"!!!! shopping in Singapore, will have to wait for a while I guess.....You do make a fabulous "Tour Guide" even if you did make me go on that dreadful Cable Car Ride. It all sounds like you are still enjoying yourself. Not much going on here in SA, the weather has got much better during the days and have ventured down to different beaches, but as the wind has still be up it has been too rough to go for a dip in the sea. Am slowly getting brown for me but expect when i get back Wayne will still be browner then me naturally! gutted! The eveings are cool and im having to put jerseys on but by 5 in the morning i am having to fling the windows open to cool down. anyway off to Ushaka tomorrow which is a mega water aprk so that should be fun, just trying to find some young people to go with cos my dad and gran are starting to do my head in with all their mollicollidling, but i know they mean well. speak soon. xx

Also, nik nak, on the NTL front, i should have transfered enough funds to cover up to the end of september and the last payment it took from my account was beginning of oct which left me with some credit. same as on your account bill thingy so i've requested the refund and we should get cheques sent out within a couple of weeks. please check your account as u can keep your credit bit if i didnt transfer enough into your account otherwise i want it back, thief!! would have emailed all this but hotmail seems to be playin up so cant work it at the mo but hope that all makes sense. lovin th post card collection i'm gettin, keep livin the dream!! xXx

Haha, all is going well in the job, still purchasing lots and lots, passed a million the other week which was very exciting.. shame I can't sneak a few quid here and there into my back pocket!! Hey! Well at last i am in sunnier climates of South Africa!! I have had to wait far too long to come out here and at last i am. The weather has been beautiful but today was the 1st day i managed to chuck myself in the pool as it has felt so cold copmared to outside but it was very refreshing. Am driving down to Durban tomorrow with Dad and my Gran it will take me about 7hrs, as dad and gran arent really up to driving at the moment. My little cousins have been driving me up the wall as all they want to do is spend time with me so i have found myself hinding up trees in the garden to get some peace from them or by going to the pub with dad. Anyway, will give you another email or text over the next week, take care and give a hug to your mom when you see her. lots of love me xx

Hey Nikki! It was the Madventurer ball last night, and you asked me to let you know how it went. It turned out that there weren't many of us there in the end- just me, Finola, James, Roseann and Jasmine, plus Edd and Hannah of course. It was a great night- we met some of the people who had done the other thailand projects. There were photos blown up onto the wall with a projector during the meal, and they showed our vcd (only ours, no other groups! not sure why..)- so we were all displayed in our full sweaty, dirty glory to the several hundred people there! It was a shame that nobody else made it, but understandable as everyone else lives quite a long way away/is still off gallivanting round the world (you know im jealous!). Carry on having a fantastic time and keep in touch...your bamboo hut mate,
